Beginning of Our Story
It started with a simple observation on lab grown diamonds and 925 Silver. We watched India's jewellery industry, one of the most culturally rich and economically significant adpating to modern jewellery categories. The D2C sector was on a change. But on the B2B side, it struggled with the same problems for decades.
Manufacturers couldn't reach volumes consistently. Brands couldn't get high quality products and not up to the mark procurement experience. The supply chain was fragmented by layers of middlemen, each taking their cut, each adding delays and non-transprency.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we are building DVAB Labs—the Digital Value Added Bazaar as a movement to democratize the jewellery trade.
Problem and Major Gaps
A talented manufacturer in Rajkot creates excellent designs but can't reach the brand in NCR and Bengaluru who's desperately searching for exactly those pieces. Between them?
